An experimental medical instrument called Maken has been discovered, which can extract the material of the human spirit. You play Kay Sagami, who's been taken over by the Maken. On a quest to discover the hidden potential of Maken, you must fight your way through the Blademasters, skilled fighters whose sole purpose is to protect world order. As you defeat enemies, you can "brainjack" them, inhabit their bodies acquiring their special powers and weapons.
